Maintenance and Installation Technician
CPC (UK) is a division
of a large privately owned company with offices
throughout the UK.
CPC (UK) operates from the Hounslow office and provides
refrigerant gas monitoring equipment, refrigeration
controls and energy management systems to the commercial
and industrial refrigeration market.
We are currently seeking a Service, Maintenance
and Installation technician to work on the refrigerant
leak detection equipment.
The role is field based and candidates
should be based in the M1 corridor between Leicester
and Milton Keynes although the work is likely to
involve extensive travel throughout the UK.
The job will entail visiting customer’s
premises to undertake service, maintenance and installation
of specialised refrigerant gas leak monitoring equipment.
The equipment is installed extensively throughout
the UK in supermarkets, cold storage facilities,
food processing companies and commercial facilities.
There are also opportunities to progress on to work
with the Refrigeration Controls and Energy Management
equipment.
Full training will be provided however candidates
should have conducted service, maintenance and installation
works on similar equipment in the past, ideally
in a retail environment. A basic electrical knowledge
is essential together with computer literacy. Good
communication skills and personal presentation are
important as the successful applicant will be representing
the company and working direct with our customers.
A refrigeration understanding would be beneficial
although not essential.
A fully expensed company van is
provided together with all appropriate specialised
equipment. Company pension and profit related pay
scheme available to join after appropriate length
of service has been completed.
Occasionally the job will demand
that the individual works away from home and all
associated costs will be reimbursed. The role is
strictly Monday to Friday.
